The site has been up and down for a few days.  Mining stopped briefly at 6am GMT, but it's all working fine again.

It seems like they have been hit by a couple of ddos attacks last couple of days not much one can do against that kind of violence

There are many ways to protect against DDOS - that's why banks rarely going down - but they are expensive hence most sites don't use the decent solutions.
