I want to sell small quantities of BTC for Paypal $US at MtGox rate, but I'm open to negotiation. I understand that Paypal is reversible, so there's the risk of me ending up without BTC and suffering Paypal chargeback. Therefore, I ONLY accept offers from reputable members with positive feedback and trade history. I'm willing to send first. Up to 0.1 BTC per person, for now.

Start by posting your offer here, please do not send pm.

Edit: Going to lock. I've read more regarding Paypal and I see further risks (including cancelling my account). I feel like an imbecile for wasting people's time. I apologize.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Actually, MP CAN be charged back although less likely than PP. It is listed as a Medium risk.

When the subject of buying BTC with Paypal comes up, I often remember this:

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

I'm looking to buy 3.25 bitcoins so I can buy  a mining machine.   I'm a new member, I am an honest guy and will send you the payment first via paypal.  In fact if you are interested, I would double that order so I can buy 2 of the miners I want and paypal will let me use a credit card so I don't have to have all the cash right now.  I wish I had a magic way to prove to you that I'm a trustworthy person and wouldn't do a chargeback so long as I received what was promised.  Willing to pay $770us per bitcoin.  That's $3 above the ask price ($767) at bitstamp, their 24 hour average is $753.54 as I write this, that should help cover any fees you incur from paypal, but if that isn't enough please let me know.  I need the coins ASAP since there is a short term sale on the miner I want to purchase.

Thanks for considering me,

Korxax
