Your account probably consisted of a single output worth 2 BTC. When you sent the 1 mBTC to your friend, it took the 2 BTC output and sent 1 mBTC to your friend and 1.999 BTC back to you as change. Since you sent the 1 mBTC without fee, that transaction might not have been confirmed yet (confirm/deny?), which means that the 1.999 that's coming back to you is also unconfirmed and Blockchain isn't letting you spend the unconfirmed funds.

Impossible to predict.

You could get lucky, and the transaction could be confirmed in a few seconds in the next block, or it may still not be confirmed days from now.

Note, unless bockchain.info has recently modified how they handled unconfirmed transactions, if the transaction is still not confirmed after 2 days, then blockchain.info will stop re-broadcasting the transaction and will return the funds to your wallet to be re-spent.
