lol... I think it might be too early to do that. Don't forget that some of our most powerful enemies (bankers) are based in NY.

and some of our most powerful friends are there too. Shrem with Bitinstant for example

Anyways, my move would be unrelated and more for just pleasure while I'm off for school in the summer. just visited the city for the first time a few days ago for New Years and it was wondeful

Anyways, I've contacted Bond and the guy I spoke to didn't really seem to know what bitcoin was but said he'd forward me more information as he gets it. I'd probably be interested in coming to NYC for the summer if Bond has reasonable fees.

Anyways, I've contacted Bond and the guy I spoke to didn't really seem to know what bitcoin was but said he'd forward me more information as he gets it. I'd probably be interested in coming to NYC for the summer if Bond has reasonable fees.

Hmm... they are still finalizing the paper-works and all. It might take 2-3 months for them to start accepting BTC. And tax issues can be quite complex with Bitcoin.  Angry

I like the mention of employees requesting compensation in bitcoin

Having businesses be able to pay their expenses (such as employee compensation) will be key for businesses to consider keeping bitcoins on their balance sheets rather than converting to local fiat immediately.

I wonder how many businesses pay employee compensation with bitcoin?  10?  1,000?  Zero?
