Introducing Multicoin ( http://multicoin.zapto.org:8080 ), where the pool mines the most profitable coin that we have.

I must stress that this is an initial test ran from home, and does not have a massive amount of coins to work with; however if this test is successful, special hardware will be bought to continue this project.

2% fee right now!
Uses vardiff on all coins.

Every 15 minutes, an evaluation of the profitability of the coins happens, and the pool switches to the most profitable one (if not already on it.)

Notes:
  • Manual payouts are disabled due to the tricky nature of a multi-coin environment. Automatic payouts happen every two minutes (or whenever a block confirms to allow the payout, and if you do not have a set address, it will just pile up; so you do not lose any coins made.)
  • We are open to more coins, so just make a request.

I cannot stress this enough that this is a beta, and is in testing so thing might not work as expected; however if something doesn't don't hesitate to use the support tab and I will try to get back as soon as humanly possible.

Connect on stratum+tcp://multicoin.zapto.org:3310

Worker passwords are not enforced just like most other pools.

cgminer: cgminer --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://multicoin.zapto.org:3310 -u Username.worker -p anypasshere

The currently enabled coins are:
  • ALF
  • EMD
  • FRK
  • GDC
  • GLC
  • HBN
  • PXC
  • SPT or SPOT
And more are on the way!

Here is a few shot of  payouts with my friend and I: (img tags would make this post too large, and there are no spoiler tags here. Sad )

If I miss anything, please don't hesitate to notify me via a reply, PM, or a message from the Multicoin support page.
Happy hashing.

Hi

Going to test this pool for a bit, the website looks really nice and rly like the information! (quite different compairing to middlecoin Cheesy)
Might be that my ping is too high for mining here though, have to see what the invalid rate will be.
Btw where do i enable coins? or is this something the admin does?

I enable and disable coins.
Coins are disables due to a few factors and unless otherwise noted in the pool news, they wouldn't be enabled.

Why is it that my miner shows much more accepted shares than multicoin dashboard? Or do I miss anything Huh

Could you please elaborate on where exactly you are seeing a lower accepted share rate?

I'll edit that here in a second. Just a case of didn't edit.

Due to the difficulty of those coins, I will not add them until we get more hashrate.
Based on my calculations, it would take more than an estimated 96 hours (at the current 4.2 Mh/s) for a single block of DOG(E), and 4 hours for a single block of DGC.
This is an issue as I want payouts to happen in a somewhat timely fashion and with times like that, it is not timely at all.

If we get more hashrate, I would be more than happy to add it in, but until things can happen at a reasonable rate, I will not.

Earlier today I implemented an update where there are no disconnects when switching coins, so there is 0% downtime and you can submit more shares!

PPLNS Stats -> Round Shares -> Your Valid
Does not always update in sync with my miner announcing an accepted share.

Hi there,

Good to see more auto-profit switching pools.

What sort payout are you seeing per 1 MH?

Thanks.

I actually can't tell you as I don't know myself.
Upstream MPOS was looking at doing a 24 hour thing, and I don't think anything will get done about it.
I might go in and add it for Multicoin since it would have relevance.

As far as the original question, again, I don't know as I haven't done the math yet.
24 hour stats is now on my todo list.

Where did your support forum go?  I closed the window and now can't find it...  Perhaps a link on the Support page would be useful?
