Post the cards you know for a fact are voltage locked and voltage unlocked. Either confirmed from your own testing, or from what someone else has shown you as a fact. You may all post and I will update this main post every so often with your results until the list is complete. Any R9 graphics card is fine. If you want to include last year's 7000 series we can do that too. I'll start with a couple on the list are confirmed personally by me. What exactly does underclocking voltage do? I assume increased efficiency at the cost of hashrate.
Will a locked card get less hashrate?

Thanks for this thread! Locked: 280x Gigabyte GV-R928XOC-3GD
Locked within software but VBE7 BIOS moddable: 280x Gigabyte GV-R928XOC-3GD 1.09/1025/1500 725kh/s
So this card can be edited? I'm getting 6 in tomorrow, so I'll be reflashing them. I'm also getting some PowerColor AXR9 290 4GBD5-MDHG/OC cards in, so I'll check those.

Unlocked voltage means you can lower the voltage (to a degree) with zero loss of hashrate. You save power and create less heat. How low you can go varies even on the same exact model, kind of the luck of the draw. Go to low and the card will crash. A locked card simply means you have to live with the voltage that the factory has set for a specific speed so you can't lower it to save power.

A lot of guys just do it in cgminer with; --gpu-vddc 1100 or whatever voltage. I have to say though, after reflashing all my cards with VBE7 I will forever do it this way from now on. It's rock solid and you never have to worry about messing with it in software as the software doesn't always do it right and isn't always reliable. To the guys who made VBE7 "Darkhmz, DroiDMester, & whoever else"; you guys rule and many thanks http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/vbe7-vbios-editor-for-radeon-hd-7000-series-cards.189089/The links are at the end of the 1st post on the page, they aren't easily seen at first glance. http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/attachments/vbe7-0-0-7b-exe.52628/
