how to filter on new topics in this forum?

Maybe a stupid question, but how can you filter on new topics? So you can check which topics were added most recently.

Try the options at the top:

Show unread posts since last visit.
Show new replies to your posts.
Watchlist

The topics in every section are listed by latest post, It is not possible to short by time of topic creation

I found a way to keep track of new topics in a board/forum

go to watchlist>watch board> and add a board you want to wacht according to the instructions.

This will add all new topics posted in a board to your watchlist.

After adding the board. I do the following:
1. Go to watchlist
2. Click on edit watchlist (the normal watchlist doesn't function well for me after clicking once, they disappear).
3. Look at all the new topics, visit them and remove the ones you are not interested in.

I am using this to get track of 'announcements (altcoins)' under 'alternate cryptocurrencies'.
