Recently we have seen many account cheating on bounty by alt accounts. Same persone using multiple account to participate on bounty. You can check recently on spreadsheet 2K or 3K+ bounty participant. Where they can from? You will find many thread against them on reputation section.

Mostly bounty participant are Jr. Members and newbie. Any one can creat alt account and start shitposting and become Jr. Members within one month. And then start abusing bounty.

As a result we can't see any quality post on their profile.
Many scam ICO bumping their thread by them. They will make huge camping also outside of forum and normal people will loss their mony.

Only best way I found to prevent this kind of situation. Don't allow Jr. Members and newbie member's for join bounty.
If Jr.Members and newbie can't joined bounty then forum will be 80% spam free.
If Jr. Members and newbie can't join bounty then they will try make quality post for earn merit. Because if they can't earn merit, they will not become member's.  They will competition each other to make quality post.

Some of bounty manager already start to reject Jr.Members and newbie to participate from bounty.

Hope this way will keep clean and spam free forum.

Simple yet possible idea, although i'd be affected by this, it would be great to have some interaction around altcoin discussion, I've been waiting for answers to some of my queries, but then again, you just gotta research for your own good.

A lot of genuine members is constantly looking for an alternate acount of someone for an instance this thread is fighting against alt farmers Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III (2018 Q2) we can all find alt account for trying to cheat in bounties and The Pharmacist is the one I reckon have a lot of time doing it I also think if he is still sleeping for finding those accounts.

I am not clearly understand.  Do you mean - prohibit Jr. Members and Newbee participate in signature bounty or at any type of bounty?  If the first - no problems. If you wanna to forbid such people participate in fb and twitter bounty - this is absolutely unacceptable. It' s independent branch of bounty and if you care of spam you should write accurately, and not with some blurry phrases with loud statements.

I think so (signature campaings only). I don't really think fb and twitter bounty has any relation to jr members and newbie doing these type of campaign. Although prohibiting jrs and newbies to bounty would also be a good idea, not that i'm against at people doing so but, if it would greatly reduce the amount of spams, then why not? Besides with this implemented, i'm sure people would be into interaction rather that answering questions.

This might succeed but only for those who are new in here. As some are aware, most of the accounts here is an alt account of someone. If campaign managers forbid Jr. Members and below to participate in a bounty, specifically the signature campaign, then their higher-ranked account could easily give merits to their Jr. Member account. Since only 10 merits is required to become a Member, this is just a piece of cake for them. I believe that the only way to eliminate the problem is to destroy its roots.

Back in the days, when I was running Bitcoin giveaway campaigns, I rejected all lower-rank accounts. That got rid of most fake accounts and people joining with more than one.
ICO bounty threads on the other hand don't care: they don't spend more of their made-up Tokens if more people join, so to them, spam is FREE. Any extra revenue that comes from the spam, is profit to them. It's an insane incentive, and indeed, it would be good if the forum limits access to those boards to higher ranks only. But if that happens, they'll start spamming other boards to gain activity. Letting them spam the bounty boards is the lesser evil choice.

There's no use if they gain activity as long as they don't have the merits needed to rank up...
Maybe we can split the forum to bitcoin and altcoin section (as TheQuin has mentioned already)
The bounty hunters won't have access to bitcoin section, so they could only destroy the altcoin section but bitcoin will survive...

Some managers like @sylon requires the rank Member to join on some campaigns and in others he has a limit of 250 junior members, this is a good solution to prevent the abuse, but we need also a manual check from manager to control if abusers joins with higher rank account.
