IDEX IS SO BAD

Had to youtube a video just to learn how to deposit my ETH on IDEX. The user experience is really bad.

Once you connect your metamask wallet it nowhere states that you have to deposit your ETH into their wallet. There is no part of their guide as well that tells you that you have to click on "QUICK BALANCES" just to deposit ETH because when you go to the The "BALANCES" page ETHEREUM IS NOT LISTED. Wasted so much time going to youtube and searching for guides god damn the token i was going to buy already pumped.

IDEX IS A BAD EXCHANGE NO BETTER THAN ETHERDELTA. I hope some IDEX people read this your exchange SUCKS.

Not to mention trading and withdrawal FEES are a RIP OFF.

They make users face difficulties to transfer. No clear direction like we see in so many exchanges. They have to do more work on the site to assist users navigate easily.

In my opinion, I have been using idex for quick a while. The issue is that, they need some upgrade in their system and they need it to be stable as idex lags a lot. They have a lot of technical issues and this isn't so good for user experience

Idex is not for everyone, really. If you dont know how to be resourceful and learn to navigate the site to find what you're looking for then idex is not for you. In order to know the ins and outs of idex you have to be keen. It doesn't need a genious to learn depositing or withdrawing, it just needs your time and patience.

This is a common problem in most of the decentralized exchanges and that's keeping people away from them. It's true that income of these exchanges will be much lower than the traditional exchange but again that would rise with rise in the use and making a good GUI and friendly introduction is just one time work.

I think idex is better and safer than etherdelta and forkdelta. It is unfortunate that the minimum withdrawal limit at idex should be $ 100 and this often traps new users. Its trade costs are also quite high and in one trade we can pay 3 times the transaction fee.

Op, thank you for this information and I think this is an eye opener for some of us that has not open account with idex.  From the beginning my fear has been be able to fund my account through my myetherwallet private keys.  I read a story here how someone account was wipe out by hackers on etherdelta through this method and since then I only used a centralized exchange for trading.

And I am sure IDEX must not be for me since it is not good for newbies who do not have the technical experience as well as the patience looking for the right buttons to click. There are actually many decentralized exchanges like this and though I love the concept of it am always afraid to explore them because I am 99% sure I can only be lost along the way and end up giving up. This is actually the first time I read a detailed complaint on IDEX. well, there are other exchanges in the market so we better not wade into IDEX if we are not that prepared for technical roller-coaster experience. But then again we are all hoping that a good guide can be published so that newcomers to IDEX will not have a hard time using the site.

I think IDEX is more successful than Etherdelta. Our expectation from IDEX is very high.
Despite everything I prefer IDEX because it is more useful than other markets.

Yeah, you're quite right. A week ago I thought about opening an account with IDEX, but didn't do yet. Having read this topic, maybe I should give a second thought. Non-technique guys need a user-friendly interface and functions, be the exchange centralized or decentralize platform.

IoIz... I had such experience with IDEX, I think they need to improve on their user interface for them to get more volume, IDEX is a good place to trade tokens when they are not yet listed.
