I am feeling really lucky lately. In the mining pool I use, I have discovered 2 blocks. One on 12th December 2003, and one today.

Should I go solo? That is like 50 Bitcoins every half a month.

If so, how can I set up to do it? I got 2 Jupiters, 50 Blue Fury, 1 ASICMiner Blade, and 2 Eruptor.

I read that somewhere using bitcoind as server will be too slow for the Jupiters. How can I set up to go solo? Can this site be trusted http://bitsolo.net/ ?

Thanks, please let me know should I do solo, and how.  Smiley

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?

Try IE or chrome.  I couldn't see the captcha with Firefox either.

Chrome/Firefox doesn't show unsecured content by default (e.g. the captcha) on a secured page. IE at least prompts you.

I tried going solo about one month ago.
I successfully wasted 1.5 weeks of hashing.

I wouldn't suggest it.
Also, I would suggest that you look up the definition of "luck".

Since I have still got 2 Erupter, I decided I wil go solo for that. It doesn't really make a big impact not running them on the pool. Since I also have 1500 GH/s.

Thanks for your concern. I am not going 100% solo now. Just using the 2 erupter to enter the lottery.  Cheesy

If your idea of a retirement fund is playing the lotto every week, then go ahead and solo mine.

Otherwise, please join a pool
