I think it could be just as big if not bigger. More people have heard of Kanye than the Dogememe. It's gonna be popular at the start for sure, but Dogecoin hasn’t exactly lasted long either.
Who gives a shit, who has heard about the name? What matters is who cares about it?, that is also into Bitcoin and Alt's. Nothing else matters much. A coin will not become popular because the name on it is popular. DUH!
And people only care about it because of the name, duh!
