We are two Portuguese graduates in Multimedia Communication Technologies, that recently fell in love with cryptocurrencies.

We want to show to the companies and the governments that the “world” wants cryptcurrencies, so we launched this project to collect a large sample size of cryptocurrencies supporters in order to provide faithful stats by country and by favorite coins.

We would like to know your thoughts about our project, so feel free to comment.

Hey this is a really cool idea. I was wondering are you only promoting Bitcoin, Litecoin, Peercoin, Quark, Worldcoin, Namecoin, Novacoin, Primecoin, and Feathercoin? I noticed that you provided the option of other but would it be possible to once your site gains popularity add coins such as devcoin? If you are unaware of the coin visit http://devcoin.org/ and http://www.devtome.com/doku.php. I think if you are trying to show the benefits of the crypto currencies and show how much they can help the world the best coin to show would be the coin created with an ethical inspiration! If governments realize how not all crypto coin users are the black market type. If you had any other questions not answered on these sites please PM me.

We can't have all coins in our website because all weeks new coins appear. We decided to have only a top 9 coins, but you have the option to type another coin when you are voting. If we have many votes with that coin, we compare with our top coins and we replace the coins without losing the votes.

As the devcoin was most voted than novacoin, we made the substitution.
