Putting this on hold unless:

You won't charge except for shipping and can fill a flatrate box with enough stuff to make it worthwhile.

I've had so many PM's and offers I'm more or less out of btc at the moment.

Quote
I'm looking to pay bottom dollar prices on pretty much anything that comes out of a computer.

Why? My girlfriend makes jewelry out of the parts!

So instead of dumping your stuff into the trash, I'll pay the shipping and a little more to compensate.

I'm literally looking for darn near everything:
8088/386/486 and up boards
Any hard drives, regardless of size.
Any add on card - Dialup modems, sound cards, gpu's, networking cards, etc
Power supplies, heat sinks, etc
Old memory sticks! bios's, chips/resistors/capacitors, and any cables!

About the only thing I won't buy individually is floppy/dvd drives as there is nothing fun in them to make into something else. Pretty much it seems older is better, as the tech was larger and looked cooler.

Send me PM's with what you have. Pictures are going to be a must with your name and my name, xurious. I don't need exact pictures, even if it's just all in a pile and I can get a rough idea. It'd be great if you know "about" how much it weighed to figure shipping costs.

It's actually easier to just go to her little facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Chic-Computer-Curios/281261928555048

She has a website, but I'm not good at html and the guy writing it up is taking forever.

There's newer stuff not up yet, but she's made a boatload of different stuff and all my old junky boards are gone now Cheesy

I have a ton of dead hard drives, PATA and SATA, 10GB up to 500.. Probably best to ship these in a flat rate box, their pretty heavy. Note that I might have to open a couple of them and run a magnet over the plates to ensure data cannot be recovered. Make me an offer.

I also have a bag of mixed SMT resistors and capacitors, accidentally spilled an assorted (individually labeled) box of them and do not feel like getting out a microscope to rearrange them. Their mostly 0603 and 0805, with a couple 1206 size tossed in there. I'll have to ask at least $25 for it, there's over 10,000 parts.

Only thing is you said prices are firm, and since the hardware I get is pretty much going to get mutilated, I'm not willing to pay all that much for the stuff.  Undecided

You also forgot to list how much you'd like for the 7xxx Nvidia Pci-e card  Cheesy

I'll change the 'prices are firm' thing, I'm tired of holding onto the stuff XD

I didn't list the price of the other card because it's sold!  =D

I'll pm all you other guys in a bit. I wouldn't pay for a CRT, shipping is way to high.

No interest in the hard drives? I can probably also get you a bunch of dead motherboards and PSUs (know a guy with a computer repair shop)

I own a computer business and I have a ton of old memory, probably 50 in total. Atleast 20 above board cards, atleast 10 hard drives, at least 15 mobos, I will be at the shop tomorrow. Just wondering how much bottom dollar is, to pack it, take pictures, ship it will take atleast an hour. Just wondering if we are talking 5 dollars 50 dollars, 100 dollars?

I manage a small computer retail/repair shop which is also one of the main electronics recycling hubs for a ~100,000 pop town.

You tell me what you're looking for and how much it's worth to you, and if it's profitable to ship, I can almost certainly provide it.

I have many shelves full of dead laptops, and I ship off van-fulls of desktops and various other hardware for scrap every week.

Do you ever get any rack mount equipment? I'll buy it off you if your going to scrap it.

A suggestion:  I sent you my vid card.  I'd LOVE to see what got made out of it, and since my vid card was in the piece, I'd be more motivated to buy it.  I suggest you post pics of the pieces made from hardware you bought here.
