yeah a few ddos attacks today but all pools back up and running smoothly! Cheesy

Its a slow increase but by the end of everyday the difficulty + amount of miners + hashrate is up.  Stick it out through the long haul and we will all only prosper!

Can someone make a decent reddit thread on the subreddit of coinedup? An at least a give away for votes. That's the way we get more votes.

I'll start with a small 20K (1 Block) giveaway here. Next 20 addresses posted with your Crypsty name (the one you voted with) will receive 1000 NUT each.

https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/62933

(I will not be able to send the giveaways until I am home from work tonight, sometime after 7pm EST.)

I just voted on Crypsty  name   Tim Wah

thanks getting on this

Warning: Seems to be a dumb idiot who doesn't do research (ME, LOL).  Although its still not recommended to use the wallet from nutcoins.com.. Use nutcoin.com as its up to date.

Miner numbers increasing on all the pools! Go nutcoin!

Also welcome Twizz! Hope you stick around and get alot of nut! Tongue

Dont forget to set up auto transfer.  No xfers over 50k if you exceed that amount on any pool it may not be able to withdraw without talking to pool owner.  Be sure to always set your auto-withdraw when getting nuts! Tongue

Update:

Net hashrate increasing faster and faster! Love the nut already.  Like ive said before guys stick it out were in the big bucks soon Cheesy.  Dont let the diff increases scare you as they will just keep increasing and nuts will be worth more and more!

Warning: Seems to be a strange website called nutcoins.com VERY similar to Nutcoin.com (well not similar website but similar name)...  This may be the cause for a previous users losing nutcoins.  be sure to use original link from this post or link from Nutcoin.com NOT NutcoinS.com..  I dont know for sure its unsafe but you can never be too careful!!!

well, the right questions would be; Why there are two sites still up & running ?! (from the same dev).
& ofc there is NO link to the new thread in the old thread first post.

Now, i wasn't around when this started, & i didn't bother to read all posts, however judging by the real smart innovation [APDTC ?! LOL] & just by readin a few pages about how it got launched with those parameters finally, you get a good picture about whats goin on ...

The OP [the mighty developer!!] doesn't even bother to edit his post or update the threadS ... that alone, says alot.

as a side note, this is funny [from the first fail try] :

What is Nutcoin?

Nutcoin (NUT) is a fast version of Bitcoin and Litecoin. It uses scrypt as a proof-of-work algorithm, massive supply for everyone, and a simple stabilization mechanism to limit speculation effects.

- 20 second block targets
- 10000 coins per block
- subsidy halves every ~6 months
- difficulty retarget every ~15 days
- supply: 92 000 000 000 (92B) coins

What is the innovation?

- Anti-scarcity: 92 billions on coins will be delivered in the next 10/15 years
- Designed for easy CPU mining: NUT will ever be the fastest coin to mine
- Value stabilization via innovative APDTC system (Anti Pump/Dump Transaction Control) to avoid market manipulation (EXPERIMENTAL IMPLEMENTATION)

i LOLed. (As far as i can see in mining, he didn't change any parameter of the sCrypt algo even, didn't check the code though, no need i guess)

Now i am NOT trying to bash this, & i love that people at least TRY to be innovative instead of hyping everything [plain scams], but srsly, Learn abit more before you decide to "contribute" something to the crypto-world, IF that was your real intention.

the only reason i bother to write this post was these few sentences which you don't see on any alt-coin launch page nowdayz :

How to get nutcoins?
It is not recommended to trade NUT in online exchanges (like btc-e, cryptsy etc.) before the currency is widely used and well established. We will do our best to widespread the currency to online and local merchants. We hope NUT value will stay correlated to "what you can buy with it".

& that was nice. Wink

Please note that this coin has a 50k transfer limit! If you go over that limit and don't auto or manual transfer your coins out, you won't to be able to transfer them!! Set auto transfers up immediately please!

Can anyone explain this? It was on nut.dedicatedpool.com

You can't transfer more the 50k in one transaction...i setup auto payment but I think I set it up too high (45000) and my balance went over 50k so now I have to wait for the admin to help me out and manually transfer my funds out in 50k chunks.

The developer put a stupid limit on the coin transfers.  It's extremely frustrating.  If you go over the limit it won't transfer it out to you and has to be done manually.

Can't you just add an option to your pool to allow people to manually specify how much they transfer out of their account instead of just having to cash out their entire balance? Would make it a lot easier on you.

Welcome squirrels. You write that page nutcoin.com and nutcoins.com are two different pages, and someone with one can steal coins from downloaded portfolios. I looked at the portfolios and both are similar.

Here's the address of the first page:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=393572.0
Here is given a second:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=397938.0

Is it not, however, the same developer?

And what do you think is going on with the site: http://www.nutcoin.com/ - why does not work?

Developer says it is limiting the transfer of up to 50,000 nuts, but the windows in your wallet, you can send more.

Do you know who is the developer if he was going to work on this, how to contact him?

Ive been in touch with the dev personally and hes been working hard to get things fixed.  I informed him about the previous thread needing a link he should change it soon.  He has been working to get the site back up aswell there seems to be an issue there.

For now nutcoin is still on the rise though everyday reaching new heights Cheesy. Don't lose faith the dev is working hard for all of us! Go nuts for nutcoin!

Forgive my ignorance, but can someone explain how the Dev can make such claims on the worth of this coin in the future?

I have messaged him a few times and he responds everytime (Takes him a bit but im sure hes busy).  I wasnt here when nutcoin started.  I joined 4-5 days after the launch so I didnt really know what had happened prior.  I dont expect nutcoins to be worth as much as he claims but they certainly can be if we all work together to push the difficulty and raise awareness.

I did mention to the dev today about the old site still being up and the old forum post.  Also told him we needed updates of what his plans are otherwise people will start losing faith.  He hasnt responded yet but it was literally less then an hour ago.  Im sure he will poke his head in eventually and let us know how things are going.  Im sure hes busy trying to fix whatever happened to nutcoin.com.

Thank you for clarification.

I don't expect it to worth that much either, but this little project is better than most of the other scamcoins Wink

& i do hope that he comes to his senses before its too late ! IF he is doing anythin or even has any plans [doesn't seem like it for dayz now], he should have already shared the news.
Maybe he just needs to realize a coin needs more than 1 person in his hobby-time, & alittle (lol) better marketing for it to stay alive at least.

my thoughts exactly its a very promising coin at the very least.  Not TOO fast but fast enough to not be worth 1 satoshi EVER.  So thats good aswell.  Many perks about this coin it just needs some recognition.  Hopefully dev has some huge plans in store hes about to drop on us Cheesy.
