God damn must've missed the give-away by hours lol, I put a ticket in to cryptsy to add NUT about 5 hours ago, then tried to post on the giveaway thread but there was no reply button. Booo haha. Sad

Congrats to the winners!

Go NUTs!

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I hope you're mining today, the difficulty is way down from where it's been for the past several days.  Wink

Cheers for the heads-up! I am indeed, got a dedicated linux laptop that's been constamining ever since I discovered NutCoin - gets ~10kH/s on it's own which is decent-ish I suppose for CPUing.

Out of interest how is the difficulty managed? I assume it's a rather complicated algorithm but is it based on net hashrate or what?

Danke

Yes, as the net hash goes up, the difficulty goes up. Theoretically, the price of the coin should rise also, but since Nutcoin's not on a major exchange yet...

Well hopefully that part'll change soon enough! Got more faith in this than other coins, I especially like the value stabilisation and profusion ideas.

Thanks, for some reason I assumed an inverse correlation between net hashrate and difficulty lol Huh

Go NUTs!

I am the runner up on the giveaway contest, thx.

Been mining NUT now for a while. Started a week ago, when the hashrate flirted around 100Mh/s. I must conclude that the hashrate is still the same a week later.

Actually, its smarter to buy NUT on freshdesk, instead of mining NUT.

What are you guys are going to do about it? How do you guys see this in the future?

If you want your coin to go up in price, you need more hashrate. are there any promotions going on or a relaunch or something?

Is there a thread where we can receive more information about what's going to happen in the new seasons?

I still believe in the project.

Thanks

This is the official thread, and the hash rate was hanging at about 34 net a week ago, then it shot to 100 in just a day or two and I personally have been advertising it a lot of places, on Google+ and earlier tonight I was mentioning it in the Newegg TV chat on Twitch. I use every opportunity I can to put the name out there, but at the same time quite frankly, I could go another month around were we are right now or moving slightly higher. I keep telling everybody, this coin is not designed to be the hare, but to be the tortoise and I think if you're looking to get rich quick, you might be on the wrong coin. I believe it will all come to us in time, but you need to build a good foundation to put under a skyscraper.

Season 6 is titled "The Exchange". What are the actual plans here? You guys would like to reach big exchange? Like cryptsy?
Is there any movement yet?

I voted for cryptsy and better already.

Who knows? It might be bigger than we all might imagine. We can never know until the dev brings out solid news abt the next episode. But I think it's still worth supporting. I don't see a lot of coins asking for you to take an oath  Cheesy
