I'm going to take a wild guess, but I think the coin which will do best in 2014 will be Coinye West. Just kindding; BITCOIN.

Bitcoin, but Litecoin will follow along I reckon. I have no idea which will be third best.

I think you're right that it will follow along, but how well it does depends on whether it gets merchants to accept it.

DOGE seems to be on its way down.  It started trading over 100 Satoshi's, now at 33 though.  Mooncoin I think was worse, it's down to 2 Satoshis.  Not even worth mining it would seem.

This is what happens with flash in the pan coins. People mine them until it becomes unprofitable to do so, then jump ship.

Mining DOGE was a fun ride, but seems to be hurting now.  I've been enjoying trying out the launches of some new altcoins, can't hurt to try
