The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

Is there a REAL Casino that accepts bitcoins yet?
In other words, someone who actually runs a real online casino site that accepts bitcoins?
By Casino, I do not mean 1 or 2 games.

Why does Bitrebel have 65+ Ignores?
Because Bitrebel says things that some people do not want YOU to hear.

How did they miss Dragon's Tale?!  It's an MMORPG casino with a bunch of unique games.  They obviously put a ton of work into it and it shows, really quite impressive.

No there is no "real" licensed casino accepting Bitcoins yet and it will probably take some time until there is.
There are no real gaming licenses that does not require the players to register with full names, adress etc.
This is in order to prevent money laundry.

I would be very carefull to trust any casino or gambling site offering players to play without requireing this info or without a valid and recognised gaming license.

They could be shut down, take your coins etc. If there is no license there is probably no player protection.

A gaming license from Isle of Man (One of the trustworthy in the industry.) costs around £50.000 per year.

A license means next to nothing.  Look at Full Tilt Poker (just latest in a string of player losses due to fraud, theft, embezzlement).  A license is only as good as the authority issuing it and all of the existing off shore authorities collect big checks to look the other way and rubber stamp.

I will second that.

The so called gambling licenses are the biggest joke in the online gambling industry. From Malta to Isle of Man to Kahnawake to Alderney all those gambling Jurisdictions have multiple scandals and none of them manage to successfully protect the players. The only think they successfully manage to do is collecting the yearly license costs.

Successful player protection is handled by forums communities that can pressure operators ( 2+2 , Casinomeister etc.). The online gambling industry is self regulated, fraudulent operators that are after players money open multiple casinos at the same time and move their player base from one to the other and successfully defeats players funds by tricking them into bonus traps or unauthorized playing behaviors to escape paying back the players (just to mention a few...).

Even well none brands use these techniques to defraud players from their funds. Only few ethical online operators are around and "strangely" those are not the most successful.

Just ask yourself how those casinos manage to give €2000 in bonuses and are still highly profitable! Look at the time it takes them to pay back winnings from 24 hours for the fastest to 3 weeks or even never. Why can't the winnings be processed immediately. The software control the gameplay and bonus rules still they let you wait for no obvious reason, the reason is that a player will cancel his withdrawal and start playing again within 12 hours 50% chances, within 48 hours 55%, within 3 days over 65% chance for the casino to make the player cancel his withdrawal.

Thanks to almost nonexistent transactions fee with Bitcoin transactions we opted to process all deposits and withdrawals instantly. This is for sure a premiere and only possible thanks to the Bitcoin technology.

Self regulation in our case will bring us much further. Each player not getting paid instantly can post a forum complain, note that the site or the Bitcoin demon could be temporally down which could cause a potential delay in transactions other than that players can expect to be paid instantly.

Good luck in playing at regulated "secure" casinos and poker rooms!
