well his fans don't care.. as long as he says what they want him to. that's how extremism works. that's imo how the media works; you don't need to say something substantial or true (though he does say some things that i agree with), you just need to catch the attention of people.

On Reddit, people are wondering about the "recurring billing" problem with bitcoin.  But I'm thinking "view on demand"!  There would be a "View Now" QR-code next too each movie and when you pay it in bitcoin it immediately starts to stream.  No account required (or an automatic cookie-based account similar to just-dice.com).

That's true, it's a step forward but we need a better contract implementation, like holding funds somehow
(i.e. break the contract at any time if the balance of a given address if lower than the next subscription value)
