Yesterday it took about 2,5h for one of my transactions to get one confirm. Today the same. Hours go by before i get confirms. What's up with this? Do you have the same issue? Is it because of more transactions or is there other reasons? Do you experience the same?

did u send it with a fee?
sure. It automatically asks me every time 'do you want to pay fee?' and i click 'yes'. Sometimes it doesn't ask. Do i need to change options?

in fact i realize i didn't pay fees for those transactions. Why have i not been asked by the client? How to get all my transactions to go through quick? I don't like tranasctions in limbo for hours. Sorry for being noobish Wink
A little help would be appreciated.

What difference would that make?

Not your keys, not your coins.

Set minimum fee of 0.0001 BTC (standard) in your client, so your transaction every time will have a proper fee, instead of going free. Free transaction are limited for only 30 KB per block, and there is hundreds of them waiting.

yes, was about 1btc. went through now (took 3 hours). Found the option and changed as recommended. Thanks again.
I think that option for transaction-fee should be the standard-amount by default. It wasn't with that last client-update. Default was zero fee somehow.

No, every one should set standard 0.0001 BTC fee per KB.
You can set fee to 0 only if you doesn't care about transaction confirmation time -  if all conditions are met, your transaction will go through as free and it may take several hours to confirm. This is for those, who are not in hurry.

Please note, that only Bitcoin-Qt and bitcoind supports free transactions properly. All other wallets should have fee set to 0.0001 BTC, because they don't understand how to build proper Free transaction. Using 0 BTC fee in non-Bitcoin-Qt wallet may cause problems.

I always send for a fee of 0.0002 or 0.0005, I am generous.
