Yea, well we kinda figured people lost interest after prizes 1 & 2 were won, but feel free to bump it yourself. If no-one else does you will eventually win prizes 3 & 4  Grin

I currently like it because I'm promoting them as crazy (in return for lots of LOTs).

how the long term future for Lottocoin is... Nobody knows. What I do know is that there are over a billion Chinese and most of them like to gamble. And most people like to play the odds with "illegal" (non-taxed) money. What else can you do with it than have fun and gamble? There's only so much beer and woman one can have ;p

That the coin itself is a "game" is a little far fetched. More coins have rewards hidden in their blocks? besides, that is only interesting to miners.

That's why I also think that, for the new logo discussed somewhere, the reference to a real lottoticket was smart. I liked the primitive mspaint job because the completely different logo sets it aside from all the other coins...

I'm a true believer when it comes to crypto currencies (though I'm afraid, in the long run, for governments. Will they adapt because it is just too smart to ignore or will they ban it?).

The battlefield now raging will know many losers in the long run. I do not see any point for Memes to become coins. Pokémoncoin next? Than a re-introduction of the "gulden" (Dutch pre-Euro currency) and local supermarkets inventing their coin. I dunno. Could be. But there are going to be losers and I hope it's only the smart coins that will survive, together with a few "popular" ones - popular for whatever reason. If nobody liked gold, it would be worthless ;p

Smart coins like, for example, Datacoin. And Lottocoin got my attention too (http://scforum.info/index.php/topic,8586.msg22281) for I just LOVE gambling. It hits a primitive nerve with all calculating people world wide. And world wide, Lotto is the most well-known gambling game. As is with its imaging! Therefore, a new logo and real nifty promotion - with "regular" gambling sites too! If they accept... It will go into RL casinos real soon Smiley You could start with giving people free lottocoins when they subscribe - just as is now with regular $$ bonus! Gambling sites can stack up in the coins and slowly put more value to it - breaking it lose from the trading grounds and the miners...

My 2 cent ;p

Peace!

devnullius

POST-EDIT: I now see I should have explained myself in 25 words or less. Apologies? Did not want to steal this thread. My reply is a make-good, ok?
