There is no accurate prediction on how long will bitcoins going to last in down to $10k dollars but you can still look on it as a good sign because in this way you can still invest a huge amount since the price is very low.

Why most of the people want bitcoin price to be expensive? I don't see any problem if bitcoin price will stay $7k to $10k range as this might be a reason for mass adoption of bitcoin into a currency and more establishment will accept bitcoin as a mode of payments.

Well, bitcoin is not here to entertain you, the price is going to move in a way no one can control and you must adapt to it, if you do not find opportunities to profit then move to another market temporarily if you are that desperate to get profits, but if you do I have no doubts you will regret it since there is not better market to multiply your money than this one.
