William Shatner is so strange. Everyone on the original series hated him. How do I stay so healthy and boyishly handsome? It's simple. I drink the blood of young runaways. ~WILLIAM SHATNER
There's been a great deal of enmity between George [Takei] and me. He's been saying mean things about me for nearly forty years now. That's nearly Star Trek (Two) Generations!... To be fair, George is not the only veteran of the USS Enterprise who has hard feelings. Walter Koenig has been vocal about his disdain for me. James Doohan was not a fan, and Nichelle Nichols told me -- while I was interviewing her for my book Star Trek Memories -- that she detested me. Set phasers to Awkward! ~WILLIAM SHATNER

I saw that. Although Shatner can be a little silly.
I suspect that I can just add him to the list of celebrity mentions of Bitcoin and wait to see if he ends up doing anything interesting with the community.

Yeah, Wil is a tech guy. He's friends with George Takei too so maybe Sulu can get on board. Takei has a large following on Facebook.

Have you listened to some of his albums? I have. He is possibly the worst entertainer of all time and only gained any fame at all as a fluke. He is a creation of Gene Roddenberry. I think anyone that played the role of Kirk would have had the same fate. He also has a personality that would make me kind of afraid to be alone in a room with him. I can see him trying to molest my dead body after boring me to death.

Another celebrity is becoming bitcoin-aware. Adam Carolla had a caller in to his show that paid him with bitcoin as mentioned in this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=407745.0Having the celebrities getting involved only creates more awareness which, in turn, gets more people to invest. This all drives the price up. After all, they're not making any more bitcoin.

I chose an old show so it it would be tough. My favorite line from that show was when someone was talking about the 90 year old Mr. Grace, "no, that's young Mr. Grace. Old Mr. Grace doesn't get around much anymore". Then the old man is seen looking up a young girls skirt. lol
