Can someone please help me configure my 7950 Powercolor  3GB GDDR5 in cgminer 3.72 on windows

My .conf file looks like this:

Code:
"intensity" : "20",
"vectors" : "1",
"worksize" : "256",
"kernel" : "scrypt",
"lookup-gap" : "0",
"thread-concurrency" : "8000",
"shaders" : "0",
"gpu-engine" : "1125",
"gpu-fan" : "0-85",
"gpu-memclock" : "1500",
"gpu-memdiff" : "0",
"gpu-powertune" : "20",
"gpu-vddc" : "0.000",
"temp-cutoff" : "95",
"temp-overheat" : "85",
"temp-target" : "70",
"api-mcast-port" : "4028",
"api-port" : "4028",
"expiry" : "120",
"gpu-dyninterval" : "7",
"gpu-platform" : "0",
"gpu-threads" : "1",
"hotplug" : "5",
"log" : "5",
"no-pool-disable" : true,
"queue" : "1",
"scan-time" : "30",
"scrypt" : true,
"temp-hysteresis" : "3",
"shares" : "0",
"kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin"
}

I get only HW errors when I set my thread-concurrency to 22400 cgminer will not start.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try this:

 -I 16 -g 1 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 18816 --auto-fan --shaders 1792 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-engine 1100 --gpu-powertune -10

i'm using whit a sapphire 7950 dual x 11196-19-20g, i normally start cgminer on my pc, after few minutes i modify intensity directly on cgminer up to 17 them 18 them 19, and i have this hashrate: i 16 = 515khs, i 17 = 580, i 18=605, i 19= 620kh/s
i dont work at intensity 20 cause it seem have the same hashrate of I19 but more consumption.

voltage is that of default, (1.169v) i'm not able to modify the bios, and have to learn it Smiley

consumption at I19 is about 350/360 volt (card + pc) i think only the card is 240/250 volt.

agree with the above.
when i am fault finding I will start cgminer with the default settings then pump up the -I to 18. Leave it for a few mins see what hash I am getting then start messing with the other settings.

I have found 2 cards can totally react different to getting the most out of them. think 1 card speeded up when i lowered the gpu clock a little

I get the same issue when I use a thread-concurrency that high. It says something along the lines of -61 and cgminer needs to restart. I will post the exact error in a few once I fire up that machine again.

Maximum buffer memory device 0 supports says 536870912
Your scrypt settings come to 1233125376
Error -61 clCreateBuffer (padbuffer8), decrease TC or increase LG
Failed to init GPU thread 0, disabling devise 0
Restarting the GPU from menu will not fix this.
