HW in cg miner

So my miner is running at about 50khash less after tweaking it from default setting to these (I got from another posthttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=399380.msg4320580#msg4320580 ) I am not getting rejects but the HW: 36 it is now up to what does this mean?
I am running a 5870 averaging 360khash but 400 on defualt with rejects
