If you want to invest and buy bitcoin this is the right time, but you should not buy all your money, just 50% of your money and 50% for a reserve fund when the bitcoin price drops.

Investment ratio depends on your capacity, the currency is the safest COINS on the market, so you don't need to consider the current price, as long as you can hold for a long time will get profit.

You must consider number of things like how much you can invest? How long you can hold? You patience level? How much you believe in bitcoin and how much you believe in yourself? And most important how much loss you can bear?

Not enough information here, and also you better don't ask financial advice from unknow people..
i tell you what i would do, but i'm no one so don't listen me. I would invest not less that 50% of my portfolio in Bitcoin, and like 20% in altcoins.. i would use the other 30% for FIAT, for better trade Bitcoin, also with leverage in dedicated sites.
Do it at your own risk.

If you are not going to invest the last savings in the crypto currency and are ready to buy bitcoin and altcoyins for the long term, then I would probably have acted as follows:
30% - bitcoin
30% - etherium
40% - on the most promising altcoyins.
Open the graphs of coins that are going to acquire, for several years, study, compare and then the picture will become more transparent.
As you know, everything is cyclical in our world.  Wink

I want to make some investment in bitcoin. but considering the market condition, I am confused that what percentage i should invest in BTC.
Could you please suggest the percentage I can invest in BTC safely? The rest of my investment will be placed in alt coins.

Don't invest all of your money in bitcoin instead, invest half in bitcoin and half on alt coin. This strategy makes you more flexible even if one of them fail. You must ready what lies ahead, cryptocurrency is not stable sometimes too high the price, sometimes too low. Buy bitcoin if the price is low and sell it if the price go high. That's the simpliest strategy you can do.

For example, it's a strategy to invest in orbit a bitcoin. low sales and lower value for just after I bought it then the price increased I could have sold more Smiley

first you need to know the basics of Investment, learn to wait and have a little patience (so that you don't turn to another panic seller) and the bitcoin basics - then you can observe the market and take your own decision.

There is no fixed proportion, because the risk ability of each person can be different. I suggest that you invest most of your capital in bitcoin. When the market starts to improve, invest more in altcoin.

The strategy before investing on btc first and foremost is to know btc by doing your research. Learn btc's fundamentals and experiences of the investors through this forum so that you will be also emotionally not just financially prepared when you are already decided to invest on bitcoin. It is very important that you know the technology behind btc and its market volatility so that you will avoid panic selling when its price goes down  rather hodl and become patient until  price goes up.

you already said that the risk ability will differ from person to person , therfor that simply means that your given suggest wont probably work on him . I dont want to give my own advice either because that wont also work on him. I think the best  way that op can do is to try every thing and see if  what will work for him the most.

Trial and error is the way to go

putting your eggs in one basket is a verry risky move. much better if you can just learn how to diversify your capital and then spread it on the potential coins that you think can be a bang on the buck.

why wait if you can just buy altcoin directly along with your bitcoin investments.  You can just always do both for a better possible results.

there really is not a too complicated strategy to do an investment activity on bitcoin. because I think the most important thing you should do is that you must know the right time to invest in bitcoin. as is usually the case when buying the price is at the lowest level and then you can hold until the highest price. but one thing you must have is a patience so you will not feel panic in the face of the market situation at any time.

I think the basic strategy is buy when low and sell when high. You hold when high volatile , the market is down. I have did it.

Many investors has a difference in opinion about cryptocurrency and Bitcoin.  Cryptocurrencies don't trade like fiat currencies since there is limitation of coins only 21 million of coins are there and in fiat currency if inflation occurs the Banking authorities that is central or reserve banks have the right to print more currency to manage their country. Before investing don't blindly believe what others say we have to study about the negativeness and positiveness of investing .To my opinion Bitcoin is safest coin in the market place and if you invest find the best time when the price depreciates.
