I think the name is because its actually really fast   Bitcoin takes forever to process the transaction, this one takes seconds, so you would actually be able to use it in stores and such.

How much does a block generate? and is this one a cpu currency or open for all?
Really like the idea of speed transaction though,How do they manage the confirmations etc... ? do they produce more blocks per min period?

it's not fast enough.  neither is quick quick coin.  now if they added a third quick...

Why not investing efforts in something else instead of yet forking 'another coin doing pretty much the same thing with different configuration'?
