My main question is will it be re enabled I was looking at that site and I can put the money into my bank, but I am not sure if when its re enabled can you withdraw money from mtgox into okpay?

Buying bitcoins and moving them to another exchange is the only way at the moment. No real word on when you will be able to withdraw fiat again, maybe never.

Also okpay does not work with US citizens or US bank accounts.

You can't get money out. I've tried and failed. You just have to sell at mtgox, and move to bitstamp or another exchange. Sucks I know.

I sold some coins on November 9th. Waited six weeks for the wire to arrive. Gox wouldn't even answer support queries. It was only when I asked for the wire to be cancelled they replied, and put the money back in my account.

You just can't sell coins on gox and cash the money out. Its only use now is for trading.

not much has changed, you can get bitcoins out if you way a few days and you can get USD out via SWIFT wire transfer if you pay a 5% fee.

Bitcoin withdraws can take upto a few days but *usually* go through on their own. Keep an eye on your transactions though.

Except that I never saw this 5% fee option when I was trying to do a wire out. I just filled my bank details in and a few hours later the withdrawal marked as "processed". That shouldn't really translate to "never will be processed" should it Sad

Well i made a 510 euro withdrawal through sepa at 2013/11/02
It took them almost 2 weeks to send it out so i see it at 2013/11/19
Yesterday  2014/01/06 i saw that i got 442 euro on my bank so along the way it costed me 68 euro.
So a couple of days is an absolute fairytail, when you withdraw funds from gox.
But in anyway you do it its gonna cost you, i wanted to withdraw from btc-e to find they have a minimum sepa costs of 100 and up to 500 euro.
Bitstamp is a mess i registered fully and 3 weeks later i was all of a sudden no longer registered when i asked how this is possible they simply state they lost my documents.....
I have read many horror stories about them from people not being able to withdraw anything from them, so decided not to use them ever again after the so called lost documents.
The question is how trustworthy are the exchanges and how much in time is really needed to get funds towards your bank.
Because i saw others can do them fairly fast
To be honest i am actually thinking of changing bank because of the info these exchanges got from me and i am not sure if they really should be trusted with all that info.

You mention it cost you EUR 68 to withdraw money. But on their website https://support.mtgox.com/entries/21649594-Withdrawals-and-Deposits  they mention it only cost 1% fee + 5.5 PLN (EUR 1.30), so your cost should have been EUR 5.1 + 1.30 = EUR 6.40
How is that possible? Did you complain about it?

On my side it took me 2 business days to deposit money into my account on Mt Gox. I have now requested to withdraw EUR 500 to see how long it will take. It has only been 3 days, so I will wait the 6 weeks they mention on their website.

Good luck getting anything out of mtgox be it bitcoins or fiat.

Looking to me like they're finished and are in the process of doing a sheep market type scam.

Perhaps he paid Gox that 5% "bribe" to actually process the transaction?

Well, EUR 68 out of 510 is 13%, which is damn a lot!!
Perhaps, the transfer was considered International Wire (not SEPA as it should have been) and the bank from MtGox and the one from Bronan charged EUR30 or so each + transfer fee from Mt Gox. This could add up to EUR 68.
I know when I transfer internationally I always get screwed by the bank that charge me fees to send money and to receive money.

I was actually looking at BitCoin as a way to exchange currencies by paying low fees... I guess I was fully mistaken...

Anybody else with similar issue? Out of the few who managed to get money out of MtGox? how much did you end paying of fees in total?

No international wire should cost  30Euros each end. You only get charged one end for a start .... and anyway, Gox don't do international wires that quick. People have been waiting 6 months for international wires.

You could ask Gox support about the charge. Nah, only joking. That's shite as  well.
