How is possible to give 20 merit for bounty thread ? There is any useful topic or any tutorial to help other members ?
If nothing is useful here so why send 20 merit for single thread ?
Of course they abusing merit system by selling and buying merit.

I'm going to say that this is a false positive. Although it is very suspicious that the user sent 10 merits over a minute (if it were within 10 seconds it might be a reload mistake) some people will send merits randomly to campaign managers.

If there's another instance of this then I would say that a tag is warranted but right now there's insufficient evidence.If anybody else wishes to neg the user(s) then they can but I prefer to play it safer with merit.

There will always be members that will sieve their way through the filters but if they aren't caught, then there's no problem. Eventually, they will either get caught or run out of merit. And when that happens, we're better off tagging them then rather than risk tagging someone who is innocent.

After looking into this, i am also not convinced about the possible merit trading. There is lack of evidence and it is incorrect to red tag someone without concrete proof. I will argue you to produce some more information which proved them guilty; if not, then kindly lock this thread.

Yes there is a possibility of trading merit here but before an action would be required, then the evidence needs to be irrefutable that anyone would see and agree with not casting any doubt. Just like @actmyname has made a position, if he should go ahead and tag without a conclusive evidence, then that would amount to giving credence to threads about abuse of trust by DT members. In my case, I saw a post and I was impressed wanted to give 2 merits but didn't know it was 20merits which is irreversible. It was when I was reading the thread again that I saw myself gave someone 20 merits that I had to go back and check if I really did that.
