However

Our CGI miner seems to be hashing but our wallet address does not appear on the middlecoin.com site.

Thanks

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I would appreciate if someone would help us contact H20 (founder and operator of middlecoin).

We set up our miner about 16 hours ago and it seems to be hashing at a rate of 70 mHz/sec. However, our wallet address does not appear on the middlecoin web page. We have no idea if we are mining and if we are, where the bitcoins are going. I am still a newbie on the site so I cannot contact H20 directly from the forum.

The first 5 characters of our wallet are 18y9Z.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

middlecoin thread in the announcements forum.  try there.

just keep posting your way out of noob, and wait; the address should come up if you are hashing without rejects.

Thanks Kalus

How do we know if we are hashing with rejects?

Our GPU is now clocking 70 mz/sec.

PS.....We are new at mining.

Thanks

what s/w are you using?

cgminer says A:xxxxx R:xxxx HW:xxxx next to your hash rate.  A:  accepted, R: rejected, HW:  hardware errors.

if you are getting A but no R or HW, then middlecoin is accepting your work.

There is no GPU which will do 70mh/s. It sounds like you might be trying to mine on a Scrypt pool with software set to mine SHA256.

sorry his original post said mhz i figured he was just mistaken with the unit.

random80:  do you have "--scrypt" in your cgminer configuration?

Wow

we are now down to 10 khz/s.

Looks like we set it up wrong.

We are not hashing a all right now.

I knew 70 mhz/s was too good to be true.

What kind of hash rate is expected with a GPU?

what kind of gpu u got?

check out what other people are getting with your gpu here:

https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison

it also has cgminer/cudaminer settings for most cards there.

also, hz is not hash, it is hertz, hence my earlier confusion.

middlecoin.com will not show you on the stats page for awhile - a few hours I believe.  You also won't get a graph (i.e. the number at the far right linked to your own graph page) until after a payout.

As others have said, check your settings compared to the litecoin info page (even though it is at the litecoin site, the information applies to middlecoin.com mining and all scrypt coins).  If everything is working, your A: should increase, your R: should be 5% or less of A:, your HW: should be 0.  Your kh/sec should be within the ballpark of what others are listing at the litecoin hardware page.

Thanks for the feedback.

Its working now but only at a meager 11 kH/s
