This looks fake to me. The bitcoin graphic is a different size to the other graphics.

I'm still not sure about this. Has it been verified through other sources?

I would close this thread until we are certain or it could cause ... volatility!

Big question (this screen grab is fake, is my vote)... Is zuckerberg even capable of promoting if winklevoss benefits?

I think he would be the last holdout, else he will buy 10x what they hold to make sure they don't get one up on him.

Litigation like that leaves hard feelings for a long time. I think if I were zuck I would buy in large. Not like he can't afford to.

But it won't be on the site yet. Soon maybe, zynga went there and they are a mainline feed to fb.

Someone who posted it said it was on a private testing platform at the moment. So no one out of the loop will see it.

A lovely idea. I'll wait to be convinced.

If Facebook jumps on board it'll be huge. At least exposure wise, more people finding out about Bitcoin.

Clearly fake. That is the worst cramming of a already made bitcoin image into an image to fit it. I but they just took chrome, used the dev tools and added that line.

Precisely. We were collectively skeptical about the fake Bitpay hack news.

This seems just as phony.

Still, a nice unqualified verification or denial from FB would help kill the rumors.

(seeing as we're safely in the speculation forum)

Is this a weird reverse psychology campaign?

Is the price about to go wild, and to get more people to sell in this range, crappy rumours (Netflix included) are kicked around to make a natural price recovery look like a bubble? Not quite sure what to think TBH.

I agree with this.  Pretty sure one, this is fake, and two, I still can't see Zuck promoting anything that would make the W twins even more rich.

This is one of the main problems with Bitcoin markets right now.  Everything is totally unregulated.  If proven fake, this is a classic pump and scheme.  Did Bitcoin go up today because of this or because of the Zynga new or some other factors?  Who knows.

Explain how the regulated markets are protected from people using unsubstantiated rumours to run pump and dump schemes? Oh no, that's right, pump and dump schemes are regular occurrences, and for publicly well known brands like Facebook no less.
