hey guys Smiley
i'm new here in the crypto currency biz and I have been trying to start to mine DOGE. I followed all the instructions, I finally tried to run the miner, only to see the message:

HTTP request failed: Failed to connect to 127.0.0.1:9332; No error
json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds

Did I do something wrong?...
Thanks!

Btw, now that I am creating this post, I must say I find these 'newbies' restriction pretty ridiculous... I mean, yeah, i understand their objective, but registering now on this forum doesn't mean I don´t know anything about this subject and/or how forums work, and having to literally wander around the site for quite some time and making some (most of the time, pretty useless) posts won't help me with that. It will only make me impatient, and, let's face it, this isn't the only bitcoin discussion forum in the internet, and having be logged in for a while and make posts in a very restricted area before being able to properly participate in discussions doesn't make a new member very fond of it in the beginning... But that's just my opinion, and, agree or not, rules are rules, so I guess all I can do is follow these rather silly 'protocols' and do what apparently a new member is supposed to: make a post (off topic or not, it doesn't really matter) and wander around the site, checking random threads (yes, random, since I'm not even able to search the threads I'm interested in...).
