Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

For proper competition there needs to be more than one coin per algo, I have no problem with another CopperLark, we need more SHA-3 in our lives

Nope.
The economy is very different. Just like there are multiple currencies in SHA-2, Scrypt, etc. there will be multiple SHA-3 currencies.

I mined ecoins in solo about hour, nothing found. Mining speed was 230 Mh/s, difficulty was 140 up to 160. So now i continue mining copperlarcs at WildCat's pool. MarkoDev, r00tbear is almost richest copperlarc owner. BTW, is there any cryptocoin, which sources are very different with bitcoin sources? |
