I purchased more than a BTC on Coinbase on Dec 31. It's been 5 days, and the BTCs are set to be in my account on Tuesday.

However, I've heard some people have had issues where the order says it's processing and at the end, the order is cancelled. Has anyone on this board had that problem?

Hoping my first BTC transaction goes smoothly!

I had this happen to me. They canceled my order on the date my bitcoin was due to be in my account. They said it was due to security reasons and that "sometimes we get this wrong, if this is the case please try again in a few weeks." So I can confirm it happens but the good news is that it should work when you try again or it did for me at least.

Thankfully, the transaction went through. Hope Coinbase continues to run smoothly for everyone else as well.

I've heard of that happen to some of my friends.  Luckily I have not experienced such a thing.

I think sometimes they take longer than usual to get coins out to you depending on demand/how much they have readily available, since I'm pretty sure they keep the majority of their coins in cold storage.

Glad you got your coins!

I've had problems confirming my identity even though info is correct. Anyone else with this issue?

Hi Jordant!

How was your first purchased? If it was successfully transferred, you can now enjoy the other features of Coinbase.

CoinBase also offers great advantages for you to have and enjoy. Compared to other bitcoin services and wallets, they offer a simple and easy to use service as they avoid asking users to deal with encryption, private keys. They are a “one stop shop” as they offer exchange, wallet, and merchant tools for bitcoins.
