Only half joking here... holding a Bitcoin event at Bretton Woods would be awesome for publicity.  Grin

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

lol, I love it.  But you probably need to be a kleptocratic central bankster to afford the rooms there.

At first, I thought you meant to have a new Bretton Woods Conference.  But on reconsideration, I guess you just mean to have a promotional event at the site of the 1944 conference for publicity.

OK.  Maybe.  But though I recognized the name, I had to go to Wikipedia to refresh my memory on its significance.  And with the state of government-run education what it is, it's unlikely many people in the general population will recognize it at all.

But that does raise other questions.  Are the World Bank and International Monetary Fund even aware of Bitcoin?  Do they recognize it as legitimate currency?  Probably not.  I wonder what the benefits would be of getting that changed, and how it could be done

You'd have the Free Staters in attendance for sure, being in New Hampshire and all.

BTC accepted at my browser-based MMO, Minethings.com.  ~1500 active players mining now.

You're only allowed one good idea per 7 day period. Now take a rest before you spring another good idea on us. (seriously, nice idea)
