Whatever happens with this coin, I do think comic book coins could be a little fun.

But, I'd like to see more put into it than just the same old copy and paste. I'm not saying rewrite the entire coin but the QT client could at least be customized, change the colors and buttons, etc.

Dedicated developers could model features or events to follow a comic's story line.

Of course, I don't know what kind of copyright issues there would be. Maybe get permission or ask a lesser known comic author to contribute.

I think there's a lot of room for creativity in future coins coming out.

Hopefully, there will be some people who enjoy comics or other niches enough to put the time in develop such a coin

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you will actually follow through with this.

Respect for attempting to rectify the situation, but larges premines are always bad and your proposal changes nothing.

A 500m premine, excluding your first 1440 blocks, is equivalent to 10 days of mining.  It's going to dilute the value of the coin for at least 20 days, and disincentivize miners to bother taking up the coin.  And you'll still hold double that privately, with no guarantees about you not dumping your 30 days worth of mining on everybody's head.

No matter how you spin it, a large premine punishes miners and rewards people who do nothing, which is not the foundation of a good coin.

Is there any upside to solo mine instead of pool? Never really understood the difference. Very new to this, sorry.
