what about exchanges such as 0daycoins? any inside information?

+1, we need to get this coin to an exchange to ensure its popularity and profitability.

we are trying our best but still did not had any respond from them
we think it would help if users will also ask them, just send an email to 0daycoins, it will help a lot
How would you solo mine this coin?  I already have the wallet downloaded.

you should make a bat coin.conf
and use the rpcuser and password and the ip 127.0.0.1 in the cgminer with our port
if you need more elaboration i will be happy to explain further

I made the conf file, started batcoin wallet in server mode, but cgminer will never start

please send me a pm i will instruct you further

I like Bat coin! Nice design, nice wallet, nice launch! I like how active the creators have been, can't see anything but bright future for this coin if you guys keep at it!

btw. Where can I see full hashrate/amount of coins/current block statistics of the coin?

block:2986
hashrate is low now, even very low we need more miners Cheesy
diff 0.8
coins over 2B

Batman, tell me please what is your opinion about the following question.

May be the reason for the lack of presence of Batcoin (and other new coins) on "big" exchanges is that these coins have nothing new\special\innovative to give.
So basically, given the above, people possibly mined (and I also did! =] ) a coin that is worthless?

Yes, that's probably what happened to NoodlyAppendageCoin. Multiple persons mined a coin for days, for nothing. That's the risk with new coins.
Except for a miracle.

As always the value of the coin is determined by the usefulness of the coin, most important thing is to get the coin into exchange as fast as possible, that will create healthy volume of trading and as coin gets some real world value, the coin gains more users and that builds community. At the moment there are like 20-50(?) new coins happening and not everyone going to get to every exchange, and it's not going to happen overnight either. Patience is needed, but at the same time there needs to be some haste to get things running before users abandon ship. Most crucial thing I think is the build up of the community right from the launch, be it through giveaways, bounties, games, etc. I think what differientates Batcoin from other newly born altcoins is the creators activity and the usage of premine(which was maybe bit too large) in build up of the community. That being said, there's still lot to do before any exchange is going to approve this coin. Lets get the ball rolling people!

you are right
people thinking that a coin can jump into an exchange in 24 hours
its a process
and we are devoted to it
and i said it couple times before
once the coin hits an exchange, it will create a chain effect - more miners will come - community will grow - demand will grow - value will grow
if you want to make something out of the coins you mine, it will be smart to be active in the coin community and support it and not just dump it or throw it if it doesn't hit an exchange after 2 days

we have contacted every exchange
opened votes and giveaway for the votes for coined up and cryptsy
we are remaking the site
we are developing new stuff for the coin
there is a marketplace planned but i am not even sure if i want to make it anymore as i see less and less interest although my vision is much bigger
as i thought of it, if we open a marketplace the coin will get a value even if it won't hit a big exchange like cryptsy
but than you need people who are actually ready to do or sell something for the coin
and this does not depend on us! this is on the community to decide which way the coin will go

so while we might have big plans and ideas
it will be useless to make them happen if the support and interest is low
so again - the decision is up to you guys
if you want the coin to make it big, help us to make it big

account has been hacked and ownership has been restored! this act has reincarnated us so stay tuned for updates!

Being the first altcoin I've mined successfully with my low hash hardware, and got payments from the pools, I'll keep to it and I hope it will become valuable. Too bad I don't have a "mining rig" now, but I'll consider one maybe this year.

We first need to make sure when it hit the exchange that it is not being dumped!!!! So first promote the guy, do your marketing and then when you have enough investors behind you, co to a exchange....
