What are you hashing at, about 2-ish mh/s ?
yea between 2 cpus and 5 6950s i get about 2200-2300 at max not bad getting about 1200 with 2x 7950 oh rly? i thought they were supposed to get 700-750 each? im not sure, i guess maybe with the right tweaks & overclocking etc.. on a side note, seems like the low diff days are about to over I also have a 7950 and can get only 640. So i try'd many different settings, but card crash every time It took me a while to figure out the setting for my 6950s, but after i got the hang of cgminer and the proper thread concurrency, i was able to run them at intensity of 19/20 putting out hash rates of 440-450 per card. i did also overclock them from 800 to 900. they've been running well for almost 2 months now. and considering that powercolor isnt exactly the best brand, im pretty happy with them so far. once in a great while one of the cards does go dead in cgminer, but i just restart the program and everything is fine once again. once i make enough profit i want to invest in another 2 rigs with 3 or 4 r9 280xs/ rig. im hoping batcoin will get this done for me. time will tell.

Maybe send me a pm, don't want that this thread goes to a "how to configure my card" thread. thanks

I dont know if it gonna help. I got R9 280x so I think that it is really close to 7950. This is my best config, I have 730kh/s per one R9 280x. In my case it was VERY important to underclock gpu-engine. Default for my card was 1100 and on this i got 550kh/s. After propper undeclocking gpu-engine I have my config

That is whatI was saying, the key is propper underclocking gpu-engine. Memory-clock should be as high as possible. After propper config I also did undervolting the cards. Sinse I had Gigabyte versions (the only one that can't be undervolt by software) I had to upload a new bios, but I work perfect. After undervolting one card had about 50W power consumption. So for the rig with 3x R9 280x it was 150W less!

Hmm, the pool went from 35 MH/s up to 75 and then down to 13 all in an hour. Is anyone experiencing trouble? Let me know if you are.
Man your pool took a big dip in the last couple of hours. Atm I am top hash rate on your pool. I guess maybe the big guys decided to either solo mine or switch to a diff coin? or maybe just switched to a diff pool? who knows. Hows that contest coming along? edit: second biggest now

Hows that contest coming along? edit: second biggest now Yeah it did but so did the the entire net hashrate. We had 1 person mining at about 22 MH/s that logged off so that made a big a difference. Mostly though it just looks like people are taking a break from BatCoin or they mined what they wanted out of it. Time to start promoting it before it loses its momentum. The contest has been going really well we have found a ton of guano blocks. I think our big hashers will be back, can't imagine they would just leave 1.5 million free BatCoins on the table. But then again, 1.5 mill probably isn't much for someone that gets 20-30 MH/s by themselves. This just gives the people with smaller hashrates a chance to catch up and enjoy a low difficulty for a bit.

Try set thread-concurrency 8192, intensity 13, g 2 and underclock gpu engine... let say 1040-1060. I dont know if it gonna help. I got R9 280x so I think that it is really close to 7950. This is my best config, I have 730kh/s per one R9 280x. In my case it was VERY important to underclock gpu-engine. Default for my card was 1100 and on this i got 550kh/s. After propper undeclocking gpu-engine I have my config John, Post your BAT address, I wanna send you some guano sized thanks for this. I've been running my R9 280x with the exact same settings as you and was never able to break 550kH. That is, with one key difference... I never tried underclocking the gpu. You are right, on the R9 280x, that is KEY. My hash rate jumped instantly. Anyway, post or PM me your address and I'll send some bat poop your way. Seems like a weird way of saying thanks, but whatever. As for the 7950, I think they average around 600-650kH without any major tweaking, with the ability to hit over 700kH if the sweet spot is found. With mine... Intensity, Thread Concurrency, and Mem clock made big differences as well as the mem clock to gpu clock ratio (sweet spot seemed to be about a 55-60% ratio, gpu to mem clock).

After giving this coin a break for a couple days, I pointed my solo miner at it and solved two blocks pretty quick... but the block rewards never showed up in my wallet. The wallet has no record of them at all yet cgminer clearly shows two solved blocks.
Anyone else having this problem? Not much fun to solve blocks if the rewards aren't credited... and it was working fine a few days ago. Anyone else notice this?

check what is your wallet version and make sure you are on 1.3 report back Wallet says... BatCoin version: v1.3.0.0 Mined blocks were coming through fine on the 25th-26th. Although... this is a Windows box that has been up for over a month without a reboot. Let me reboot, restart the wallet/miner, then see what happens when it hits another block.
