Guano Block Competition

-Contest will run for 1 week starting today 1/25/2014 at 5pm (server time).  It is currently about 2:20 am for the server if you want to compare it with the stamp on this post.
-To give both high and low hashrates a chance at winning something, there will be 2 prizes.
    
1st Prize:  1 Million BatCoins will go to the person who finds the most guano blocks during the contest.
2nd Prize:  500,000 BatCoins will go to the person who finds the 42nd guano block of the contest. Based on our current rate this should happen around the middle of the contest.

Each prize will go to a different person. If the same person that wins the first prize happens to also find the 42nd block, then it will go to the person that found the 43rd and so on until there are separate winners for each prize.  Since it is random finding one and we have just been really lucky, if for some reason we dont find that number of guano blocks, the 2nd prize part of the contest will extend beyond the week until the 42nd guano block is found.

Newcomers to the pool are welcome to participate, the more the merrier.

Minersbest stole my coins.
I mined BAT some time ago, logged back in recently to see how much I had and it's empty. 0 coins.

I contacted the pool but didn't get ANY answer.

Sounds to me like you mined them during the fork.

we can't really do much about the minersbest situation, we did gave them 10m bats to give out to people, but they decided to keep them as we all can see now
they won't respond and we do not have any power to do anything about it, sorry for the lose guys, i am happy that n0nplusultra took the good way unlike minersbest

That is even worst.. I thought they were given "just" 6M.

Well, what everybody can do is what I have been doing. Basically go to threads where minersbest pools are being used and warn people about their dishonesty. I'm sure that in no time he/they will learn that this type of things doesn't pay in an open community.

Over 700 people 'liked' the idea Batcoin to be added on cryptsy, more that any other coin. This doesnt add up on the current hash rate lol

Was much bigger interest but its subsided a bit now just because people seem to think doge and a couple of others are safer etc :-)

low diff helps to mine more coins but it would be nice to see people get on board so we can get picked up by an exchange. really need to at least double our net hash rate to have a good enough following.
