BAT price should be .1BTC per million.  right now.  with a big increase later as coin becomes more scarce with even more difficulty raise.

So I can sell to you 10 milion BATs for 1 BTC if you like Smiley

What is up with the difficulty?  Was between 3 and 4 earlier today, but dropped to 0.48 now.  Supposedly 6 MH\s total hashrate, but that makes no sense, as two pools are over 20 MH\s

I have seen before where the net hash rate is low it doesn't display correctly.

Is there any way to reliably look at net hash rate through block explorers or the like? I think coin is solid but like to look at any trends as to why this hash rate keeps jumping around the shop.

Strange that the net hashrate goes from 25 MH/s to several hundred overnight and pool hashrates are down.  Is everyone soloing this now or did some gpu farms jump on?

private pools or soloing im thinking. I can see people in the know having access to massive mining farms taking advantage of insider intelligence.

looks like there is a problem with the chain again

Hey, Batman! You said that there is about 14% max diff change. So why diff jumped from 1.84 to 5.5 at block 16319 - 16320?

Hashrate keeps on jumping because of groups of big hashers that unite to mine coins that they believe will enter cryptsy soon.

Guys, the new official Batcoin Lotto draft will be released in 30min!

I want to personally thank Mr Hiccups for the design and Mr Poyke for his donation

Batman, but you wrote once that you implemented some diff changing protection, like max +14% diff change. So there is no protection?

the protection is not 14%. At 14% big hashers like these will drain the whole block chain in no time.
Also when these miners disappear you will have a few days where you can't mine at after a hash rate drop.
The number is identical to older coin's long studies. Its most stable at around 400% tops.

The whole point with this "draft lotto" is that no tickets need to be bought. nothing has to be paid and no numbers guessed.
Just register to the draft and enter the daily winning circle.

Later on we will have more "number guessing"/ticket lotteries
