To be honest particle is not suited for cpu mining.
The current difficulty is insane 1355.10140618.
@bitoffer I am checking out slicify.I was using digitalocean till now.
Thank you for the valuable information.
slicify will prob lead you back to digital ocean as they are usually the cheapest. I just like to compare them all with the slicify market calculator.
Thanks for the tip guys. But $10/month is only giving you 1 core on Digital Ocean for example. How is that profitable to mine anything? It took me 8 cores to mine .1 datacoin a day. Which works outs to 3 datacoins a month = $1.6 a month. Profit = -$8.4 (rough calculations). Am I doing something wrong?
Well the 10 dollars a month does not limite you to a 1 computer, you can create i think max 5 droplets with the same cpu specs, it drains the 10 dollars though 5x faster logically ofcourse.
I set up 5cpus with the 2gb/2cpu specs and with an ubuntu distro, if i kept just one i could do a full 1 month but with 5 it will be about a week, maybe a bit more. I find this setup of 5 better since the difficulty will rise, so better to farm now when you can
