Hey!! I have 5xR9 280 working on well at 750kH/s on my MSI z77a G-45  with Windows 8.1... I need some help with the 6th gpu... Seems I have to do some workaround on my MB or find some drivers to make it works... I tried with pci's presence shorts, but it didn't works. Any idea?

If somebody need help don't doubt sending a MP.

Cheers!

What risers are you using? 1x in all slots or matching cables with the slot size. I would try all 1x cables. There is an extensive discussion here about that board. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=97154.0

You will need a lot of power to run such a rig. Risers could indeed be a problem. Windows is normally OK for running up to 6 GPU.
