Is the decentralized exchange the future of the exchange? Most of us are trading in centralized exchanges, but there are also many problems. Are we desperate to need a decentralized  Exchange?

We have them already. Ether Delta, IDEX, OpenLedger DEX etc. They differ from usual exchanges because, but still you can trade there, especially if you want to exchange some tokens on erc20 or waves.

Are all of the existing DEX platforms restricted to ERC20?

Yes, we really need decentralized exchanges. Because there are too many issues in centralized exchanges. Withdrawal limits and Identity verifications are main reasons of them. There are few decentralized exchanges in the crypto world. That exchanges are in research level right now. I think people will change centralized to decentralized in future.

I don't think so, it seams reasonable that ERC 777 tokens would be perfect for DEXs
