Hi folks

Did a search for this and didn't see it so if I'm repeating here I apologize
Today I opened the Dogecoin-qt app on my MBP and noticed it was stuck at synching 3 hrs back on the blockchain.

I started looking into it and found that in an attempt to increase the amount of coins they adjusted the chain and it
caused multiple forks which has caused many on the network to be processing and doing transactions on a false fork.

They have for the most part fixed this and have finished the new version of the Dogcoin wallet.

All the information you need to fix it if your having problems is posted on the developer blog on reddit here:

Do not send your wallet files or your doge folder to anyone.

For me the worse case was I had to delete a couple of files after backing up my wallet file and then start the new version 1.4
and it started synching from scratch. So far it is working but I'll know for certian once it gets to that part of the blockchain where it forked.

ADDITION POOLS ON FALSE FORK
Apparently after reading more of what has happened there is a list of pools that are mining on the false fork so if your mining doge
you want to check this out as you won't get any of the coins that have been found on the false fork.
Here is the list again from the reddit site
