Hey guys...first post here before I can play with the big boys.

I recently bought my first few bitcoins from coinbase (locked in an 830 price for 4 coins woo) and have yet to receive them but I have been working toward instant purchase abilities. I don't mind sacrificing some anonymity (actually...a LOT of it) in order to avoid this 4-5 days wait nonsense. The problem is that I recently moved (once a few months ago, and once a few months before that) and no matter which address I use I keep getting rejected! I read that it could be simply because I have not been on one spot for long enough, but this blows since it really seems to be the easiest way. Is anyone else having verification problems?

I am very sure that I am answering the questions correctly, I think it moreso has to do with the address I provided since the questions come up with any address I use as long as my name and last 4 social are there.

Took me a few different attempts to verify. Keep at it, eventually it'll go through.

@Turm1n - if you don't mind me asking, what did you change for it to work? Was it a change in the address format or something (like writing ST instead of Street)?

Lol.. a VC backed company like coinbase and they cant hire proper programmers.. I tried using the verification twice one for myself and a separate account for my friend (bitcoin noob). In both instances we answered all the questions correctly and failed the validation. The linking of bank accounts is a fail as well. I called my bank to verify and they said everything was clean on my end not sure why it rejected the request.

Try a cash transaction from a site like localbitcoins it's way faster anyways. Just meet in a public place and you should be fine.

I would but the price differences are substantial! I guess its a premium for fast delivery and all that but last time I looked it was like a $100-$200 difference in price.

Another newb here!  I actually registered a while back and never posted.

Anyway, I had trouble getting verified at Coinbase too.  It really shocked me the questions that were asked for level 2 verification.  I had to remember the year of a truck I had over 2 decades ago among several vehicles.

I would up searching for images on google to match the body style I remembered to the correct year.
