Many Icos are doing airdrops now because of the market is down ICOs sales are slow so they are doing airdrops and giving coins for free so people see and invest in the coins also. You can say it they want to sell more that's why they are giving some for free.

There are many ways to get airdrop but the easiest way is to look for telegram group or site that lists airdrops.

You can go in marketplace thread here in forum and there are some airdrops you can see and join.
