Is there some issue with withdrawing BTC from Mt Gox? Or is not possible to withdraw < 1 BTC amounts?

If I try to withdraw to a bitcoin address it gives the error: Invalid amount or not enough bitcoins in your account

Even though I do have enough bitcoins in my account (and no open orders).

How much are you trying to take out? If it is a really micro amount, I can see why MtGox might prevent it being removed. I've never withdrawn any less than 5BTC's from them myself.

When entering an amount below 1, remember to put a 0 in front.

.01 <- not valid

0.01 <- valid

It seems the minimum transaction is 0.01 indeed, I tried to withdraw a smaller amount than that. Okay, thanks.

Yes, it is because of the risk for transaction fees.

We'll add an option soon for low priority withdraws that can be as low as the smallest bitcoin unit, but may take a long time to be processed.
