Is it normal that account balance remains at zero after 30 minutes of mining?

Because blocks are being found so frequently, the pool is running behind in the calculations. That's how it's been every time when a pool is available from the get-go.

Yes. We are running 1 block / sec, making many collisions.

So you say 138921 coins out of 879000 possible coins in the next 5 years are banked and you are the bank ?
That`s 26,5% premine of all coins for the first year and 15,5% for 5 years.
We premine now for 1 week into your pool and then we get a wallet to withdraw our coins ?
Or do i understand something wrong ?

"The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time."

... is rare: no millions or billions.
... has a Bank to provide eTokens from other sources than mining,
to allow the Devs to progress on the marketing.
... collective rewards every 1000 and 10000 blocks.
... is secure with high confirmations.
... is based on the trust of the Devs (workers) instead of trust of the early miners (dumpers).
... doesn't d like fees.
... dev team working on nice surprises.

Pre-release Mining starts now on Block 5 !

  • Block target: 2 minutes
  • Difficulty retarget: 5040 blocks (~7 days)
  • Total eTokens: 900.000 (~5 years)
  • Transaction confirmations: 12 (24 minutes)
  • Mining confirmations: 240 (20 hours)
  • Minimum fee: 0.000001
  • Proof of Work algorithm: scrypt
  • Post-genesis centralisation: The post-genesis block, a high reward block, was mined to make the eToken Bank.

Watch our actual 2014 objectives !

  • Common reward: 1 eTOK / block
  • Release bonus: A multiplier of 2 apply's until block 20000.
  • Inferior Bonus: Every 1000 blocks (1000, 2000, 3000, ...), the reward gets multiplied by 200.
  • Superior Bonus: Every 10000 blocks (10000, 20000, 30000, ...), the reward gets multiplied by 2500.
  • Cuts: Rewards halves every 262800 blocks (~365 days).

Watch the mining previsions

STEP1: Pre-Release Mining <-- (we are here)
PERIOD: 7 days (7Jan - 14Jan)
The source, the client and the daemon aren't released yet.
Once the mining starts, you can mine on an official pre-release mining pool, with minor fees (0.5%). Until the pre-release is over.
Only 5 blocks have been pre-mined.

STEP2: First Giveaways wave
Stacks of private keys will be delivered randomly in this thread and in other threads across this forum.

STEP3: Release & Jobs
Release of the source code.
Contributors will be paid with eTokens. -see Jobs-

Official pre-release (step1) mining pool
URL: http://176.31.160.141
Fees: 0.5%
Sharing: proportional
Type: Stratum
Port: 3333
State: beta

<< The eToken will not only be spread by mining.
We offer eTOK payements for helping it to progress. >>

Here a listing of our requests:

  • Compiling for Windows 32bit - 500eTok
  • Compiling for Windows 64bit - 500eTok
  • Fix my english typos - 500eTok
  • Setting up a mining pool - 150eTok for the 5 firsts
  • Setting up a blockchain - 300eTok for the 2 firsts
  • Setting up a freenode - 50eTok
  • Setting up a webgame - variable, in order to help your in-game bank
  • Making pictures, goodies, ect... - variable
  • Other good ideas... - variable

Work in progress...

Work in progress...

Hi rznag,

you're all right.
The eToken team is the Bank (Monicka managing it, but political decisions are taken by all).
If we do not a bank on the beginning, the eToken will be controlled by early miners exclusivly.
It's not avoidable to let early miner get a nice part, but we can avoid them to get everything. With the bank we will look into more ways to distribute the tokens, this is the goal.

When the pre-release mining end, the sources will be released, you'll able to setup a wallet and withdraw your funds.
Also, before that end, we will start to giveaways stacks of private keys.

Quote
And how much coins will be mined in this pre-pool? You said 1 week, which was estimated about... 6000 blocks? That's gone already, will it keep going the whole week? New estimations?
This is a long term estimation.
On low difficulty it goes faster.

Depend,
send me a pm with your login, i'll check your account.

Awesome !
I'll update this later.
We will prepare you a private key for your work. You'll receive it the next days by PM.
