Bitstamp WAS hacked.

last night around 11:30PM someone used the $25k I had in my account to buy Bitcoins and transfer them out.

I Had email confirmations turned on for ALL WITHDRAWS

somehow this was bypassed because I received NO EMAILS.

Bitstamp was not hacked.

this happened due to my own lack security. Ive been doing this so long, that I became complacent and I was not smart, like I used to be.

My email was hacked, and they found my bitstamp password within my email.

incredible stupidity on my part and a hard $25,000.00 lesson.

be smart, use two factor authentication and never use the same password on two sites.

I thought I learned this lesson already when mtgox was hacked back in 2011, but I guess not...

In other words dont be like me.

Sad
