I use coinbase and it only takes a few days but it sounds like Mt Gox can take weeks/months for a wire transfer to be put through. I got verified but not sure if I want to risk having my money tied up for that long for just a little extra cash with their exchange rate. What is your experience?

Their is growing speculation that mtgox is in some kind of trouble,

they had rough times last year I would be careful how much you put in.

They are probably making millions in commissions every week or two, so I figure the longer they are around, the more solid they are. I moved all of my funds out of there last year when their Dwolla acct got seized but just put some more BTC in there to trade with.

Regardless in how much you think they are making each weak I would suggest anybody deciding to put much funds in their to be very careful!
