2013 BTC1 with Silver/Gold trim, asking BTC3.0
All coins were purchased from "gonefishing510" and I will only use him for escrow or we can meet up locally. I am located in Sacramento California, USA.
How many 2013 silver 1 btc coins were made?
For someone to pay 3.0 bitcoin for a one bitcoin token, it would need to be rare.
I believe the quoted number for the Silver/Gold trim was 700 total.
A US Lincoln 1909-S VDB cent is only worth $.01 but will sell for $1000+ (circulation strikes: 484,000)
Thanks for the info.
Yes, the Silver/Gold trim coin is rare, but I find it hard to compare it with US coinage.
Although the supply of Casascius is far less, the demand is also much less.
The demand for Casascius would be far greater if they had some aesthetic value.
I'm not a coin collector myself, but I know a few and I know that they're looking for cool-looking coins...not just rare coins.
I doubt that anyone who's not already committed to bitcoin is interested in buying Casascius coins.
